Camp Shred – The Largest Surf Demo In The World Aims To Benefit CA State Parks

Generating money for California State Parks, good music, food, beer, and the world’s largest surf gear demo in the world – Camp Shred gets set to bring good vibes and a festive atmosphere to the San Elijo Campground at Cardiff By The Sea.

While the demo is gauranteed to be a good time for everyone involved, the move to support California State Parks grabbed our attention. More specifically the event will benefit Friends of Cardiff and Carlsbad State Beaches through proceeds generated from the Pizza Port Beer Garden. According to their website, “Friends of Cardiff & Carlsbad State Beaches (FCCSB) is a cooperating non-profit association dedicated to supporting California State Parks campgrounds and beaches in the North County area of San Diego.”

Some of the brands getting involved include: Firewire Surfboards, Channel Islands, Billabong, CJ Nelson Designs, Haydenshapes, Captain Fin Co.,  Futures Fins, FCS, O’Neill, Otis Eyewear, Raen, Sector 9 Skateboard Co., Creatures Of Leisure, JS Surfboards, Nixon, SP Gadgets, Sharpeye Surfboards, Spy Optic, Sun Bum, Tower, Volte Wetsuits and Xterra Surf.

The event is being sponsored by Surf Ride, SURFER, GRIND TV, KIND®, Nixon, Pizza Port and Banzai Bowls.

The festivities will take place on March 11-12, 2017 at San Elijo Campgrounds in Cardiff, CA. So get ready to try some new surfboard designs, have a good time, and generate money for a classic California State Park.
