Inaugural Irving Fish Festival Set To Splash In SF

With good waves, a beach clean-up, music, food, locally produced art and beer on offer, the inaugural Irving Fish Festival, set to run Saturday October 28, 2017, is guaranteed to go off in a big way. The beach clean-up, coordinated by Surfrider Foundation – San Francisco Chapter, starts at 9:00 AM at the Irving Street Dunes. The festival itself runs from 12:00 to 5:00 PM on Irving between 46th and 47th Ave, with music by the Bay Area blue grass band The High Water Line kicking things off.

This block party is, in part, presented by Hook Fish Co and 3 Fish Studios. Located at 4542 Irving St, Hook Fish Co is “a retail seafood business bringing thoughtfully sourced seafood direct to local consumers in a variety of settings.” Click here to peruse the menu and further information about this progressive seafood start-up.

The other host is 3 Fish Studios, an Outer Sunset district hub, “where art happens daily and visitors are always welcome.” Go here to check out the art 3 Fish studios is creating and to learn more about their story.

Current surf forecasts for the day of the festival predict a steadily increasing swell. If this pans out the entire day promises to be fun on multiple levels. Great waves, epic times, and positive vibes are sure to make a memorable splash.
