“Message In A Bottle” Art Show In SF Accepting Submissions

Ocean health, art, community education on the topic of plastic pollution, good vibes, and inspirational activism – what’s not to like about the upcoming collaborative art show dubbed Message In A Bottle? Hosted by the San Francisco Chapter of Surfrider Foundation, this event is entering its third year and evolving as it goes. Set to take place February 23-25th, 2018 at the Palace of Fine Arts, this year’s show is guaranteed to serve as another great example of how to get creative and relay a vital message to the public.

If you’re a local artist and want to contribute some of your work the door is open. Surfrider Foundation is currently putting out a call for 2D and 3D art submissions for the show. The deadline to enter work for consideration is February 5th, 2018. Go here to access the submission form and get involved.

Aside from exhibiting original artwork there are other ways to participate:

Educational Collaborations

Through Message In A Bottle, Surfrider Foundation offers ways for educators to pass on the experience to their students. By talking to classes and organizing beach clean-ups they directly connect students to the environment in meaningful hands-on ways.
