After Andrew Cotton’s horrific wipe out the other day it’s good to see a few completed waves at Portugal’s fabled big wave spot (with the exception of one guy who pulls into an unmakable cavern). You know it’s massive out there when a graphic highlighting tool is needed to locate a surfer’s position on the wave. And while there’s no question it’s heavy water, it looks deceivingly easy from a drone’s perspective. Throw in a few spacey beats and it’s more like watching a video game than reality.
