Frisbee Made From Recycled Fishnets

Bureo, a company making skateboards and sunglasses from discarded fishnets, just teamed up with Jack Johnson to launch a new sustainable product – The Fishnet Flyer. Like their other products, the frisbee is designed to fuse sustainability with fun while spreading the word on environmental issues. What better way is there to celebrate concepts of sustainability than tossing a disc around, or ducking a few, while listening to live music produced by one of surfing’s best musical entertainers?

The Fishnet Flyer will be launching on tour this summer with Jack Johnson. Because Jack Johnson’s shows entail environmentally progressive tactics such as offering water refilling stations, recycling and waste reduction programs, plastic straw bans, biodiesel tour transportation, carbon off-sets, and merchandise made from sustainable materials the partnership between Bureo and Johnson is fitting.
