Parley for the Oceans and Corona are teaming up to make an impact on the spread of plastic pollution in the oceans. As part of this effort they’ve challenged the public to take a stand, or more specifically make a personal pledge to reduce dependency on single use plastic. Plastic bottles, plastic bags, plastic straws, and plastic based takeaway coffee cups are the main items being targeted. At this website you can make a pledge to stop using any of these things, and in doing so, enter to win a Bali vacation getaway.
Pledges must be submitted by April 30, 2018. They also ask that you share your pledge on social media by tagging @coronaextra_au and hashtaging #100islandsprotected. For more information and inspiration watch the video below or click here.
