City Surf Project To Host Benefit Film Screening – “The Smog Of The Sea”

What’s not to like about a great nonprofit organization, City Surf Project, hosting a benefit film screening of the epic ocean based environmental movie The Smog of the Sea? Throw in a happy hour, and raffle and you have a great time for a great cause set to go off.

City Surf Project works to connect kids from the city with the therapeutic power of the ocean through surfing and education. The Smog Of The Sea is a critical new film focusing on the spread of plastic in the ocean, featuring the likes of Keith and Dan Malloy, Jack Johnson, Mark Cunningham, Kimi Werner, and marine scientist Marcus Eriksen as they sail to the Sargasso Sea.

The event will take place at Sports Basement in the Presidio, on August 1, 2017. It’s scheduled to run from 5:00 to 8:00PM and will include a happy hour, feature film presentation, and raffle with prizes from Patagonia, NorCal Surf Shop, GoPro, and Indosole.
