4.5 trillion cigarette butts are littered every year according to Ciggy Board Boys, Ben Judkins and Taylor Lane. Enough of that waste finds its way into the ocean to present a serious problem. Instead of simply harping on the issue or putting blinders up, Judkins and Lane came up with a creative way to raise awareness and make an impact – build surfboards out of discarded cigarettes and showcase them around the world.
