The Santa Cruz Surf Film Festival is set to pulse once again this upcoming weekend. According to the festival website, “The Santa Cruz Surf Film Festival is a tribute to the arts of waveriding and filmmaking.” The event strives “to spread the stoke that we get from surfing, bringing together surfers, filmmakers and ocean enthusiasts to share stories, ideas and history in one of the most beautiful surf towns in the world.”
This year’s event is no exception. With films such as Satori, Transcending Waves, Beyond the Noise, and White Rhino there’s plenty of fresh perspectives on offer. The festival runs October 11-12, 2019 at the Rio Theater in Santa Cruz. The Rio Theater is located at 1205 Soquel Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.
